Applicants outside Australia

Changes to the Western Australian public sector employment guidelines state that to be eligible for permanent positions in the public sector, applicants must have Australian citizenship, Australian permanent residency or New Zealand citizenship.

New Zealand citizens (holders of a New Zealand passport) can be offered permanent appointment to a position within DCS on the proviso that they meet Department of Immigration and Citizenship requirements allowing entry into Australia on a Special Category Visa. Applicants from New Zealand should phone or email the Department contact listed on the job advertisement for further information.
