The Department's handbook provides a quick reference to what's available, where to find it and who to contact about prisons, offender services and other correctional matters. It outlines the role of the Department's different divisions and business areas as well as the many help and counselling services associated with each of them.
The handbook is produced annually and incorporates the information statement as required by the Freedom of Information Act 1992.
