The Department manages about 8000 adult offenders at any one time, of whom about 6000 are serving some type of supervised order in the community.

A variety of sentencing and releasing options apply to adult offenders in the community.  These range from Conditional Bail with a home detention requirement to Community Based Orders and Parole Orders.
